Redbull E3 VR Confessional
For E3 this year, Redbull in collaboration with ESA (Entertainment Software Association) asked me to create a VR environment that will house a community "graffiti wall." The focus was inclusion and diversity for underrepresented voices in the gaming community. An intersection of my passions: social impact-driven + tech + art!
We wanted to make something serene, calm, magical for people to feel welcome in an intimate setting — among a giant convention! I was inspired by flat, animation style games to create the VR space. This allowed people to concentrate more on exploring this creative tool, checking out some of the suggested prompts, and really having fun!

Together We Are…
The wonderful surprise result of this project: some attendees spent up to half an hour in the Confessional! It was a quiet, safe space where they felt completely extracted from the E3 overstimulation.
They were prompted with questions like, “Become your video game heroine. What advice would you give your real life self?” Some responses included:
“Pain makes you stronger”
“Be your most badass self unapologetically!”
“Don’t ever give up!”
It was beautiful to create a canvas for the E3 community to contribute and add to! We created this piece of art together <3
